Few days after the Cathedraticum was kicked off at Kebbi Deanery, the Bishop move to Katsina Deanery for the continuation of the annual Cathedraticum.

The National Peace Committee in collaboration with the Kukah Center organized a town hall meeting with key stakeholders on peaceful re-run of the 2019 Elections for Gubernatorial and state assembly in sokoto state held at the Multipurpose hall of Dankanni Hotel in the state. The meeting was attended by representatives of the two contending political parties, NGOs, Religious leaders, Media Practitioners amongst others.
